Each of you who is posting and telling me how wrong I am is ignoring the fact that the people who worked there lied to my face. My big issue is that I was lied to by the people behind the counter. I've plainly admitted I didn't read everything. I've rented time after time after time from reputable companies and this is the first time I've ever had such an issue.
So, no, I'll admit I did not read the small print. Go to the Better Business Bureau, and they rate this company with an "F". Check yellowpages ( ) also tons of complaints for the same exact thing. 30+ reviews all complaining about the same thing. If the people behind the counter either lie or purposely mislead you when checking out, it's a problem. I asked him several times if there was another way to do it, if they might have a computer set up for this purpose, I even asked him If I could look it up on my phone and show him (I can only imagine he thought I meant the website, because he still said no) and each time he waved the little paper in my face and told me it MUST be a paper print out. The fact of the matter is the people who worked there told me the ONLY way to handle it was with a print out from my insurance company. Now, do you realistically read the small print each and every time for something you have done dozens and dozens and dozens of times in the past? So, might it have said it in the fine print if I so chose to click that link and read all 20+ pages of the small print? Sure.

They use shady business practices to force people into using their own WAY OVER PRICED insurance, which costs more per day than the car rentals. When I got to the counter, the amount doubled to over $250. I rented thru Travelocity and chose them for a total of $122 for 4 days.
